Bleuets are low bush blueberries (Vaccinium angustifolium) native to North America, related to the far more common and smaller myrtilles of Europe.

American blueberries were introduced in the Vosges in the 1970s and are sold as Bleu Vert Vosges or bluet des Vosges. They are also called brimbelles, as in tarte aux brimbelles—French blueberry pie.
