Κατίκι Δομοκού
Smooth creamy sheep and/or goat cheese, similar to galotýri, said to have been taught to the locals of Thessaly in ancient times by the gods on nearby Mount Olympus. Sold in cartons and used as an ingredient in pies etc, or spread on bread, or in desserts. Designated PDO (ΠΟΠ).
