Thessaly

Θεσσαλία (Thessalia) has been called 'the Nile Delta of Greece', its fertile plain home to the earliest known Neolithic farmers. It also has its share of mountains, with Meteora to the west and the Pelion to the east, the latter a lush and home to some rare treats.
