μελιτίνι

Sweet cheese tarts from Santorini in a pretty thin 'pinched' crust; the inside is made with anthotyros or myzithra, with flour, eggs, vanilla or mastic. They were traditionally made for Easter, but in spite of their name, there is no meli in the recipe, although they are 'as sweet as honey.'
