Boiled kid is a classic dish served at many Cretan weddings and the tasty broth from the meat is used to make the starter, sizoúma (at least the ones where they aren’t serving gamopílafo).

It’s spaghetti boiled in broth, then topped abundantly with grated anthótyros, kefalotýri or tyrozoúli.
