Palazzo Ducale: Hidden Doge's Treasure Tour
New Behind the Scenes Tour
Inside the massive Palazzo Ducale, this tour includes several recently restored, previously inaccessible areas, including the Doge's balcony overlooking the piazza, the Loggia Foscara, the State Coffers, the private ducal apartment and servant's quarters, some steep narrow staircases (you wonder how some of the older doges managed!), one with a fresco of St Christopher by Titian, and the Doge's private chapel, with a Virgin and Child by Jacopo Sansovino.
