Antonio Gaspari
Late Baroque student of Longhena
A student of Longhena, Antonio Gaspari (1656-1723) helped to complete Santa Maria della Salute and Ca' Pesaro after his master's death.
His other projects in Venice include the Palazzo Barbaro, Santa Maria della Fava, Ca' Zenobio degli Armeni, Santa Sofia, the former Casino Zane, now the Palazzetto Bru Zane, the Palazzo Michiel dalle Colonne on the Grand Canal opposite the Rialto Markets, and San Marcuola (a posthumous work, left incomplete).
