Niccolò Bambini
An average Baroque Joe
Born in Venice, Baroque painter Niccolò Bambini (1651–1736) was taught by Sebastiano Mazzoni and Carlo Maratti in Rome, before returning to Venice. His colourful palette is reminiscent of Sebastiano Ricci.
His main works in his hometown are in San Zaccaria, Santo Stefano and Ca' Sagredo.
