Ereikoúsa

Tiny and tranquil

Ereikousa

Luxuriant Ereikoúsa is a popular daytrip from Corfu, departing from Sidari on Corfu's North Coast. On Ereikoúsa, you will wander with the butterflies through olives, cypresses, myrtle, rosemary and heather. If there’s a festival you may even catch a glimpse of the island’s traditional costumes.

The rose-tinted beach by the port sucks in most of the visitors; avoid them by walking over to Paliokaliva and its east coast beach, Braghini where you just might spot a celebrity or two relaxing far from the paparazzi. The water is so transparent that boats appear to be suspended in the air, casting shadows on the seabed. At night peace descends; lie in the warm sands and count the shooting stars.
